While the goal of Leduc Baseball remains to provide every opportunity for youth in our community to play this great game, teams can only have a select number of players in order to provide a quality baseball experience.
Although this is the inaugural year for the "A" level teams, these teams are no different then any other teams and can only support a certain number of players. LBA will field as many A level teams as registration numbers will support.
As indicated in the registration package if there are not enough players to support an "A" team, every effort will be made to try to fill out the team. If the team cannot be formed, those players will have a place on a house team. In the event there is more than enough for an "A" team but not enough for 2 teams, those players will be evaluated just like every LBA house & competitive player. Evaluation results will determine the players that will form the "A" team and those players that are not part of the "A" team will have a place on the a house league team.
The LBA will provide an affordable and enjoyable learning environment that promotes personal and team skills development with emphasized respect and fair play to ensure everyone involved enjoys their baseball experience.
